Our one night stay was initially pleasant. The space wasn't bad and the bathroom was nice. Following our stay the host nickel and dimed us. Communication with her throughout this process was not pleasant. We have stayed at 6 other Airbnbs and have had no issues, but this host has made us question our future use of this service.
Had an absolutely fantastic stay in Juliettes space. Very clean, seemed like it was newly renovated, everything was absolutely pristine! Perfect for a quiet getaway with numerous restaurants and covered bridges in the area to explore. I couldn't recommend this place enough. The place is as described, and in a beautiful location. It was cute and cozy and the bathroom was very nice.
However, we had a few issues. The back patio is under construction with dirt and mud when it rained making it a challenge to not track in on shoes and paws. It's a bit of a trek in the dark from the parking area across the back yard to the unit. The instructions said to not come to house door as it would wake the baby, so we were at a loss when we needed to request the heat be turned down it is not controllable in the unit and when the power went out the morning we were leaving not the fault of the host at all!
The heater made enough noise to keep the person sleeping on the day bed awake at night, and the curtains did not block the morning sun.
The cooler instead of a mini-fridge was notable although made clear in the descriptionand the placement of the small coffee maker required maneuvering around the microwave cart to place it on the window sill to plug it in. My vision for my life started to become a lot bigger, a lot wealthier, a lot more family oriented, a lot more eccentric and a lot different than the path I was on.
